St. John's Church is a very beautiful and spiritual place to make your promises before God and to ask for his blessing at your wedding service. We are always pleased to discuss your needs for this very special day.

Baptism

Baptism is the way for parents to thank God for their child and the gift of its life and their chance to make the decision to start the child on its journey of faith with the support of the Church.

For the candidate (not all those baptised are children) it is the start of that spritual journey, becoming a member of the local and worldwide Christian family and accepting a visible sign of God's love.

Bookings

If you would like to make the necessary arrangements for either a Wedding or Baptism. We would be pleased if you will come along to a Sunday morning service at 11.15 am. The Priest or a warden will be really pleased to speak with you immediately after the service

Baptisms are totally free of charge but to help offset initial expenses, when booking a wedding we do ask for a non returnable deposit of £100. The total cost is variable dependant on what is required, the balance of which is due four weeks before the booked date.
